I am so excited about my trip to London, which is going to happen towards the end of this summer. The reason that I am so excited about my trip to London is not only is London a great place to go on a vacation (as anyone who has been there before will tell you), but this is also going to be the first time in quite awhile that I have gotten the opportunity to go on a trip with just my husband. If you are wondering why it has been so long since I have been on a trip with just my husband, it is because we are the proud parents of two fairly young children. As a result, while we have taken at least one trip a year for the last three years, all of these trips have included our children. Now, don’t get me wrong; I love getting to go on trips with my children. However, as any adult knows (especially those who are married and have kids), it is nice to be able to get away with your significant other and have some one-on-one time with each other. Therefore, when my husband told me that his parents would be happy to watch our kids this summer, I was absolutely ecstatic.

Although we are still in the process of finding a hotel room to book, we not only have reserved a Park Royal car rental, but we have also booked our flight to London, so I know for a fact that I am going to get to spend a full six days in London with just my wonderful husband!
